4 of Our Favorite Wordpress Plugins for Web Designers

on April 18, 2018

Wordpress is a great blogging platform with an easy to use admin panel, but what makes it powerful is the ability to add features by installing plugins. More importantly the ability for web designers without coding skills to build powerful and complex websites. Below are our favorite and most used WP plugins for web designers.

Yoast SEO - Wordpress

Yoast SEO

Once a website is built, if it doesn’t rank well in search engines does it exist?  No, not as far as a website owner is concerned. Yoast SEO is the gold standard in SEO plugins for Wordpress, and we recommend every WP website use it.  It gives you full control over all of your SEO metadata without touching a single template file.

Divi - Wordpress

Divi

We love Divi. It is powerful and flexible, and clients like it too. It is our favorite visual page builder for Wordpress. It is especially useful for web designers because it has enough flexibility to customize the CSS that it doesn’t hold you back from implementing the web designs of your dreams.

Ninja Forms - Wordpress

Ninja Forms

Many websites need forms to collect data from users, and our go-to Wordpress form plugin is Ninja Forms. It is easy to use and highly extendable via extensions.

WP Database Backup

If you have ever lost the database of your site, you are very painfully aware of why database backups are essential; which is why we recommend installing a database backup plugin on every Wordpress site. It allows anyone that can click a couple of buttons in the WP admin to back up the database - no need to connect and access the database with any complicated developer tools.

Of course, there are tons of other plugins out there. Check out the plugin directory for more.
